Economic pressure in America will mount due to waves of economic uncertainty but new markets are about to open causing Americans to save and invest in America again. Certain areas of the economy will be viable for investment for the common man. Americans will jump at the chance to invest in markets that do not have constant fluctuations such as the stock market.
The housing market has turned sour and will remain so throughout 2008. The Federal Reserve’s attempts to prop up the mortgage market will fail miserably. Americans have lost faith in government, banking, and other infrastructures in the country but traditional methods of economic expansion will re-emerge later in the year as previously said.
The French economy will remain lack luster and although the economy will not be in serious decline, the French people will not prosper either. They are in a dismal state of non-expansion. The French people will become frustrated by the end of 2008 and riots will break out. Average workers will strike and demand reforms. Younger workers do not view the lack of economic expansion as optimal for the people and they will lead the charge for a change in the French government.
Asia will experience economic problems and some markets may appear to be near collapse by the end of 2008. The Asian stock market has been over-valued and there will be a serious correction leading to many entities pulling their money out of those markets (such as American investors) and leaving them “high and dry” so to speak.
