After a period complicie la cuisine du web managed to reverse the trend

In 2022, the “La Cuisine Du Web” celebration is 10 years old! However, this association established in 2012 created guarantees between web entrepreneurs in Lyon. The idea was to favor the meetings of entrepreneurs in the digital and digital sector.

On June 28, le fameux « Banquet » de la cuisine du web took place. L’association chose the restaurant une faim d’apprendre for this great evening. Around 500 actors of l’ecosystème numérique lyonnais were present. This banquet is the occasion for all web creators of the Lyonnaise ecosystem to come together in a festive atmosphere to “network” around a buffet and various animations.

After a difficult period, Camille Serain, president of the association is income from ambitions and future projects of the kitchen.

Is the banquet your flagship event?

In this event, we have Blend Web Mix, which is a 2-day event with numerous conferences.

Puis we have them banquet that is done every year since the creation of the association. The idea is really to get together in a decomplexed way to be able to exchange, have fun, play…

The particularity of the banquet this year is that we celebrate 10 years of association. For this year, we are doing a banquet d’été, when it usually happens in November.

How did you overcome the covid crisis?

Coming into effect between 2020 and 2021, it was very difficult for the kitchen, and we organize many events. So we were penalized a lot. Notamment le Blend Web Mix 2021 had to be dropped, we a couté plus cher and was much more compliqué à realiza.

Pour y faire face nous avons fait un gros travail avec noul conseil d’administration arrivé en 2021. Nous avons dû faire de grosses économies et avoir recourses au PGE. Cela fait d’ailleurs 1 an que nous n’avons plus de salariés, what are the 8 members of the board of directors who have managed à 100% toute la cuisine bénévolement. Aujourd’hui avons managed to reduce la dette and have a positive cash flow.

Qu’est ce qui fait votre force?

Tout d’abord ce qui fait notre strength c’est que nous existons depuis 10 ans. In addition, our newsletter allows you to have good visibility, as well as many things in the world. Nos adhérents viennent donc vers nous pour que nous leur apportions de la visibilité, especially sur leurs annonces de recrutements.

Who are your members?

Ça peut être des entreprises qui ont des besoins dans le numérique, que souhaient venir s’acculturer sau qui cherchent des prévalants dans le numérique. We also have digital agencies, digital service companies (ESN), écoles or encore collectivities or other associations.

These adhérents allow to create these meeting moments, to favor business rendez-vous et une entraide autour du numérique.

Can we explain our collaboration with EMLyon?

La toile is a program d’accompagnement pour les jeunes en décrochage scolaire, who want to reconvene in the digital and digital universe. On a donc convenu d’un partenariat avec la toile, nous les aidons donc à mettre en lien les apprenants en formation digitale avec des entreprises que need recruter y/ou qui souhaitent s’investir dans une mission a fort enjeu social et sociétale .

What are your future plans?

Concrétiser tous les projets qu’on commencement à lancer. Continue to invest in projects for professional insertion and digital inclusion, 2 projects that are close to our hearts. In addition, now that we have attacked the association’s accounts, we are recruiting a new secrétaire general.
Finally, we are co-launching with the ADIRA association a BtoB provider salon in Lyon.
Now that the situation has improved, we allons faire en sorte que le board of directors can focus again on substantive issues.
