Agreement in sight between Nice and PSG for Christophe Galtier

The date of Christophe Galtier’s appointment as coach of Paris-Saint-Germain now depends on the date of the official departure of Mauricio Pochettino. Negotiations between the capital club and the Argentine’s lawyer, under contract for another, are continuing and an announcement is expected by Thursday.

The agreement could be reached on an indemnity of around € 15 million, the amount due to “Poche” and the four deputies who make up its staff: Jesus Perez, Miguel D’Agostino, Toni Jimenez and Sebastiano Pochettino. So much so that the two parties do not meet in the last details of their breakup, PSG will not be able to announce the name of Pochettino’s successor.

Galtier should be resumed on July 4 at the Camp des Loges

However, his identity is no longer in doubt: although Galtier has not yet finalized all aspects of the contract, he should be at the head of the French champions at the time of the resumption of training, on July 4, at Camp des Loges.

Between Nice and Paris, an agreement is close to being concluded on an indemnity close to € 10 million to buy back in the last two years of the French coach’s contract on the Côte d’Azur. The directions of the two clubs now appear to be accelerating: Paris for the Galtier announcement and Nice to play the successor name.
