The restaurant has been open since yesterday Alivetu this is the ambitious project of Mary and Timothy. In duo in the city as in the kitchen, they met around them common passion for gastronomy.

She is from Varoise and he is half-Marseille, half-Corsican, they decide after exhausting the benches of the hotel school and those of thePaul Bocuse Institute in Paris, to return to the South to give life to a restaurant that looks like them. And for the mica story, Alivetu is nothing more than the Corsican word to designate an “Oliveraie”, which is both the name of the family estate of Timothy located in Lumio near Calvi, but also a true indicator of what awaits you by pushing the doors of the restaurant .

Alivetu is a story with Mediterranean accents whose secrets are carefully kept. “You will never find salmon, avocado or pineapple à la carte at Alivetu. We choose our products as close to home as possible and with respect for seasonality. ” Timothy tells us quite proudly.
At each dish you discover an unknown cooking (special mention to the salmon trout cooked in a divine marinade gravlax and then at low temperature), a marriage of surprising flavors and unique textures!
A playful and unique moment
