Marin Cilic is the best forward to reach the Roland-Garros final. The No. 20 seed and Andrey Rublev, who lost in the previous round, made the hole in the first round against Casper Ruud (6-3) in the semifinals on Friday, June 3rd. The winner of this match will meet Rafael Nadal in the final on Sunday.

The Spaniard qualified after the abandonment of Alexander Zverev, who was hit in the ankle. After more than three hours of intense fighting, he left the court, in tears, before the end of the second set. Christmas, otherwise victorious in the first set (7-6 [10-8]) therefore qualified for its fourth Roland-Garros final.

In the junior tournament, 16-year-old Gabriel Debru qualified for the final. He defeated Croatian Dino Prizmic (6-1, 0-6, 6-3). The doubles, Kristina Mladenovic and Caroline Garcia also reached the final, at the expense of American pair Coco Gauff-Jessica Pegula (2-6, 6-4, 6-2).

Earlier in the day, at 11am, the two-time Paralympic doubles champions Nicolas Peifer and Stéphane Houdet were eliminated in the semi-finals of the armchair tennis tournament by the Gustavo Fernandez-Shingo Kunieda duo. Follow the day live.
