From the kitchen “zero waste”

The intergenerational space of the Clos de la Jeunette organized, on Thursday, one of the last animations included in the long list of events proposed as part of the event “Your planet, will you take care of blue or good?” »

Corinne et Laurence regularly offers user cooking workshops. On Thursday, the theme was “zero waste.” Two groups are formed. One for an apple-based recipe whose peels and trognons will be used to extract a jelly. Another for a carrot dish. With the fans, it will be made of pesto.

Exchanges of knowledge

In this pleasant, spacious and bright place, on the ground floor of the LogemLoiret building, the workshop is practiced all around the large central island, equipped with induction hobs. The oven and the water point are close by.

Corinne and Laurence have already proposed a number of culinary topics, in the form of workshops, rather than classes, as they are aimed at an adult audience. Corinne recalls that “everyone brings their own personality, we benefit from their knowledge, there must be an exchange.” The two animators organize activities every day, from Monday to Friday, and if the next appointment in the kitchen is the jam workshop, on Tuesday, July 12, the animations are varied: board games, walks, choir (which comes to life after the interruption Covid), the watercolor workshop or the cardboard workshop whose work can still be seen on display at Anna-Marly.

All users, often alone, have a good time, talk, exchange, do common work, and rent a lot. On June 9, at 2:30 p.m., Philippe Honoré will lead this unique workshop.

Practice. Information on The Clos de la Jeunette intergenerational space is located at 3, Place Édith-Piaf.
