Recently, a video of the now-retired Velaine-en-Haye SLPA showed a dogon a balcony, head in a bag of croquettes.

IT’ animal was seized rue de la Meuse, in Laxou, following a joint intervention by the police and the pound, on June 7, at around 9 pm, by order of the Nancy public prosecutor’s office.

A dog spotted more than two years ago by SLPA services

The Velaine-en-Haye SLPA had filed a complaint with the police in 2020, following a report by a third of this apparently abandoned animal. This complaint had been filed without further action.

The association had subsequently seized it Nancy’s investigating judge.

It was in view of these circumstances and due to the lack of response from the owner that the intervention of the firemen, the police and the pound took place. “We intervened with the fire brigade because the person was not answering the phone, so we had a suspicion of her death in her apartment,” said a police source. “The animal was seized by the pound.”
