Oise – Crèvecœur-le-Grand: cuisine and artists reunited at the Maminette boutique

On April 30, Nicolas Denouette opened the Maminette boutique. He makes his food there and welcomes about twenty artisans who offer various products.

Nicolas Denouette was born into the world of cooking. Her mother Marinette was a cook. After graduating, he set up his own business as a cook and caterer in Sarnois for ten years. For ten years, cocktails, entrées and festive desserts have been created.

Who is Maminette?

By hearing his clients ask him, “but what do you put in your cocktails or in your small, salty and sweet ovens”In 2021, he had the idea to create his company“ Les délices de Maminette ”. Maminette being the nickname, she married her grandchildren to Marinette, Nicolas’ mother.

He offers customers to find their Madeleine de Proust. “We all have memories of food scents and flavors on the tables of our parents and grandparents. Maminette, héritière de precieuses recettes that are passed down from mother to daughter, you aim to find small plates and drinks in your kitchen.. All with tasty and simple to design. With Maminette products, it is possible to easily and quickly recreate biscuits, cakes, risotto, cakes, elaborate cocktails without dyes and artificial flavors.. ”

A beautiful climb

The delights of Maminette were born in 2021. During this first year, less than one hundred and forty products were launched, eighty thousand bottles ordered, two hundred markets and events, three employees, twelve teams of independent sellers and eighty stores in which the products are resold.

The concept is being developed until 2022 and the opening of a boutique at 21 rue de Breteuil in an old crêperie à Crèvecœur-le-Grand.

Creators share the shop

The Maminette boutique opened its doors this Saturday, April 30th.

La boutique de Maminette, a spacious enough place to receive a kitchen large enough to prepare products. More of a great boutique, on which Nicolas Denouette thinks of all the suites to share the space with the creators, who got acquainted with the different markets and events.

The creators find in the shop the way to exhibit their creations in the form of a sales depot. That is, they deposit their products. Nicolas manages the set-up. Stock of resort products. And in return they ask for a percentage of the sales in order to pay the fixed charges of the shop.

On the day of the opening, on April 30, about twenty creators share in the available space. Nicolas was careful not to choose similar handicraft products. As he still has requests from creators, he plans to complete the renovation of the rest of the store to eventually accommodate an additional twenty creators.

Isabelle Loret

Among the artisans, the local Isabelle Loret created L’Armoire du petit bouchon born from her passion for handicrafts.

The passion for needlework has always been present in my life. In addition to social work, I spent my weekends and holidays sewing, making little basic things. After 30 years of work, I want to make a passion, to create a clothing company for children from 0 to 3 years old.. I do not regret this new professional adventure that every day gives me the pleasure to enjoy. The items are unique, personalized and especially depending on the choice of fabrics and colors of each„.

Open only on weekends

The Maminette boutique will only be open on Fridays and Saturdays from 9.30am to 12.30pm and from 2.30pm to 6.30pm and on Sundays and public holidays from 9.30am to 12.30pm. Except for the day of the flea market (Ascension) where the shop will be open all day.

Nicolas explains: “If I wanted to open every day, I would have to hire a new person. But we can’t afford it. The rest of the week is dedicated to the creation of new products and the creation of new ones, that we could not do in Sarnois because the conditions of creation did not allow them. It is not because there is a shop now that Les délices de Maminette will no longer be present at fairs, flea markets or markets like this May 1st at Ets Freulet de Formerie as part of the flea market.. ”

At the inauguration this Friday, April 30, at the closing time of the boutique, a maximum of creators were present. They presented their productions to the personalities present.
