A man who threatened a motorist with a knife in the 16th arrondissement of Paris has been arrested by police in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, learns 20 minutes from police sources.
According to our information, around 0:50, a police patrol spotted this man wearing an imposing black beard, a military-colored top, dark stockings and flip-flops as he walked down Le Marois Street. They noticed in his hand an object that, from a distance, looked like a knife blade. They got out of their vehicle and followed the suspect, who was slamming his blade against road safety railings, into the street.
The man was making confused remarks
Suddenly, he was heading for a car parked at a red light on Avenue de Versailles. He approached the window and threatened the driver with his knife. The motorist got scared, crossed the red light and headed for the Saint-Cloud gate.
Police then pulled out their service weapons and pointed at the suspect who got rid of his red and black Facom knife, with a 7 cm blade unfolded. They questioned the man, who they said was very agitated and confused. He claimed that the agents simply called themselves “Salam Salam”. He was taken into custody.
