Nicolas St-Pierre, general manager of the Mira Foundation, is ill with the project. The purpose of this competition is to raise funds to fund the training of two assistance dogs. The original goal was to raise $ 60,000, but Mr. St-Pierre says the collection has raised more than $ 100,000 so far.
“C’est du jamais vu in a CrossFit competition for the benefit of an organization. […] In addition to helping Mira, the event helps to spread the word about this unique sport that is gaining in popularity, ”said Marilyne Bonenfant, co-owner of Stricken Saint-Hilaire.
The event will take place directly at the Mira Foundation headquarters located at 1820 Northwest Row in Sainte-Marie-Madeleine.
The event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
