A show of strength from the Jumbo-Visma. Jonas Vingegaard and Primoz Roglic, both members of the Dutch team, arrived together at the top of this eighth and final stage of the Criterium du Dauphiné on Sunday 12 June. The Slovenian, wearing the yellow jersey and assured of the final victory in the general classification, left the stage success to the Dane, at the top of the Salaison plateau.

Vingegaard and Roglic launched a decisive attack on the last ascent, five kilometers from the finish. Only Ben O’Connor (AG2R) was able to follow the times, before being accompanied by the duo for 15 seconds.
