Stage “Cooking and dancing”: after the effort, the comfort

L’école de danse Artistik proposed, at the beginning of the week, a dance and kitchen scene to a dozen participants. Both students from the school and young people from outside came to discover this concept: the morning dedicated to dance and the afternoon for pastry with a choice: brioche or chocolate rock.

Thus, on Monday, April 25, the group of children 5-6 and were able to learn during the morning to coordinate, a course combining motor skills and musicality, then in the afternoon the children discovered their culinary talents. „The little ones chose to cook natural and chocolate buns, storyteller Marie Machery, initiator of the project. Proposing this scene, Marie Machery combines her two passions, dance and cooking. As a dance teacher and head of the Kadanse association, Marie is also a chef at Le Lavand’eux restaurant. With the restaurant next to the ballroom, I was able to organize this internship, it’s convenient !

The group of teenagers took over on Tuesday, April 26, supervised by their teacher Élodie. The dancers worked on jazz music, 1930s universe in order to make a music video. Then, in the afternoon, they suffered. This “Dance and Cooking” stadium will once again be on holiday for All Saints’ Day. Participants are unanimous “We’ll be back, that’s for sure!”
