He scans the chip of a wandering Maine Coon and calls his human: what he hears on the phone is horrible
An answer that was not at all the one expected in a situation that should have been happy.
Human beings are sometimes unjust and cruel. A few days ago, a stray cat was recovered from a volunteer. A Maine Coon, probably gorgeous several months ago, the animal was nothing more than a shadow of itself.
Once at the vet, to examine the extent of the damage, the animal is scanned for an identification chip. That is the case. The veterinarian, delighted, then decides to contact his humans after discovering that he has been declared lost for two years.

I’m not going to get it back, do what you want. »
It was on LinkedIn that this story was told by vet Nicolas Layachi. A story that was a real shock to him, as shown by his scathing conclusion after this phone call: “In any case, you are doing justice to this owner: she is not stingy.” It would seem that care cats costing a fancy bag have a price but no value. »
